Live@Price brings great music to a beautifully intimate venue. Our formula is simple: great music, early start times, enjoyable durations, just right for a Tuesday night. We do a few shows in the Spring and a few in the Fall. This series is funded in part by the City of San Marcos.

Willow Creek
February 10, 2026 - 7 pm, doors at 6:30 pm

The Willow Creek band is the current collaboration of musicians who have been coming together to play music since the mid 80s. Grant Mazak (lead guitar/vocals), Winston Haun (harmonica/mandolin/vocals), Scott Wade (percussion), Barry Brittain (bass/rhythm guitar/vocals), and Bruce Brittain (rhythm guitar/vocals) are current members. The focus of this band is classic Americana material from artists such as Guy Clark, Towns Van Zandt, Robert earl Keen, Rodney Crowell, John Hiatt, along with a healthy dose of original material written by band members and several other local song writers. The Willow Creek performances are a mixed bag of tunes that highlight differing tempos, harmony vocals, instrumental interpretations, and are arranged to give the audience an eclectic live music experience.

Ray Prim
March 10, 2026 - 7 pm, doors at 6:30 pm

Ray Prim is a soulful singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas, known for his emotionally rich lyrics, acoustic grooves, and genre-blending style that fuses soul, folk, and rock. Ginger Leigh with John Pointer

Ginger Leigh, a dynamic musician hailing from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, is celebrated for her soulful voice and magnetic stage presence. With a career spanning decades, Ginger has established herself as a powerhouse performer, seamlessly blending rock, blues, and Americana influences into her music. Her captivating performances and heartfelt songwriting have earned her a devoted following both locally and internationally. Accompanied by undefinable John Pointer, the two bring a power packed performance with sibling-like harmonies, humor and emotion.

Suzanna Choffel
September 15, 2026 - 7 pm, doors at 6:30 pm

Known for her distinct voice and reggae-inspired guitar technique, Austin native Suzanna Choffel's music has been described as "a unique sound equal parts Beat poetry, smoky soul grooves and indie-pop eccentricity." (Jim Derogatis). Having made appearances at ACL Music Fest, SXSW, Voodoo Fest, as well as on screen in movies like "Catfish" and NBC's The Voice (earning singular praise from Rolling Stone as "the only artist you'd want to listen to a complete album from"), Choffel feels equally at home singing in a dimly lit club as she does front and center in front of (literally) millions. Over the course of her two decade career Choffel has shared the stage with a diverse array of artists like Buena Vista Social Club, Suzanne Vega, Crystal Gayle, Solange, Carrie Rodriguez, Davíd Garza and many others. As a songwriter she has won multiple awards in both the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the International Songwriting Contest and her albums have appeared on top 10 lists across Texas.

Jimmy Davis

With a career that has spanned four decades and traversed more than a million miles, versatile singer-songwriter Jimmy Davis is the literal embodiment of the much too often used term "troubadour". This Memphis, Tennessee native musician, who first graced local stages at age 9, brings an infectious enthusiasm to every performance. Jimmy Davis' songs have been recorded by Martina McBride, Restless Heart, Tommy Alverson, Reba Russell, Walt Wilkins, as well as a myriad of other recording artists. As a backing vocalist, Jimmy has lent his extensive vocal talents to projects by numerous recording artists including, The North Mississippi Allstars, Jim Dickinson, Johnny Lang, Bernie Leadon, Keith Sykes, Michael Hearne, Toy Caldwell, Susan Marshall, Mark Collie and William Lee Golden. It's Jimmy's warmth, charisma and talent as a writer and performer that win him fans everywhere.
